Refund Policy

1. When Are Refunds Issued?

Refunds are processed in the following situations:

  • A return request has been approved and the item has passed quality check.
  • Your order was cancelled before dispatch.
  • Payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed (failed payment with deduction).
  • The delivered item was incorrect, defective, or damaged — verified by our team.
  • An out-of-stock item in your order could not be fulfilled.

2. Refund Timelines by Payment Method

* Timelines are from the date refund is initiated by Buykko, not from the date of return pickup. Bank processing times may vary. Public holidays and weekends are not counted as business days.

3. Refund Process

  1. You initiate a return or your order is cancelled/undeliverable.
  2. Our team verifies the return/cancellation (quality check for returns — 1–2 business days).
  3. Refund is initiated to your original payment method within 2 business days of verification.
  4. You receive a refund confirmation email.
  5. Amount reflects in your account per the timeline above.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Refunds

For COD orders, refunds are processed via:

  • Buykko Wallet: Instant credit to your Buykko wallet, usable for future purchases.
  • Bank Transfer: We will request your bank account details (IFSC + account number) and transfer within 5–7 business days.

5. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued when:

  • Only some items in a multi-item order are returned.
  • A coupon or discount was applied to an order and only part of it is returned.
  • The item passes quality check but shows minor signs of use — in such cases the return may be partially approved at our discretion.

6. Failed Payment Refunds

If your payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed (e.g., due to a technical error), the amount will be automatically refunded within 5–7 business days. If it is not reflected after 7 business days, please contact your bank and share the transaction reference with us at support@buykko.com.

7. Non-Refundable Items

Items that are not eligible for return (see our Returns Policy) are also not eligible for a refund, unless they are received in a defective or incorrect condition.

8. Checking Your Refund Status

You can check the status of your refund in My Orders → Select Order → Refund Status. You will also receive email and SMS updates at each stage of the refund process.
